Aluminium Cans Maximise Recovery of Aluminium Cans
High performance rotor design allows for maximum recovery of aluminium cans from plastics, glass, paper and other non-metallics.

Minimise Maintenance
Comprehensive belt seal guarding system and sidewall belt keep material on the belt surface and prevent damage to rotor drum. The rotor is built using high intensity non-deteriorating permanent magnets, so not only is no power required to the magnet, but it will also provide maximum magnetic force for the lifetime of the machine. The rotor will separate occasional steel cans into the non-metallics, but it is necessary to remove the majority of steel before reaching the ECCS for continuous trouble free operation. Eddy Current Can Separator We always recommend and provide the maximum magnetic intensity required for each application. We have designed a range of magnetic systems that provide the highest levels of separation required depending on the application requirements. This ensures that precise separation is achieved.

Maximum Frequency
The frequency of the ECS rotor is critical to ensure that good separation is achieved. This is why we have developed a rotor specifically for can sorting that has the maximum number of poles and rotates at the optimum speed to give the best and most selective separation of aluminium cans.

Aluminium Can Sorter Belt Changing
A cantilever framework turns belt changing into a simple operation without having to strip the machine. This considerably reduces any possible down time.

All bearings and drive gear are standard proprietary items that can be obtained from either Magnapower or most bearing suppliers.

Non Ferrous Can Separation Operation
A high speed, high intensity magnetic rotor inside the head drum of the ECCS conveyor induces a magnetic field into aluminium cans on the belt surface. These magnetically induced cans react with the magnetic field of the rotor causing them to be propelled forward further than the other material on the belt.
